Information about the survey

The survey was conducted between May and October 2008 in gay venues. It asked people about their experiences of homophobic victimisation. 90 people completed the survey in gay venues, and another ten completed it on-line via this web site. Some of the surveys were completed with the help of Metropolitan Police officers during the outreach work they regularly undertake in gay venues, which is designed to encourage people to report homophobic crime to the police.

Further information about the results of the survey will be available here very soon.
